Roku
You can now
access the Marconi Experiment via your Roku device. Go to the
channel store and find Live365. You can add this with no charge.
Go there and search for Marconi Experiment. I checked it
out last night and it works. I did notice that the volume is a
lot higher than video channels on the Roku. Not a problem but
just be warned if you're switching late at night or connected to a
powerful sound system. You might want to back off the volume
before switching.
There is now a Live365 app for the iPhone and iPad. I assume
there's a similar app for other smart phones. Install the app and
use it to search for "Marconi Experiment". Tried it. Works
great!
I assume the phone apps and the Roku channel will cease operating
as we move into February. Depends on what Live365 manages to do.
Last I heard, they let almost their entire staff go, so there may only be
one guy to hit the off switch Sunday night, if they even let it go that
long.
